Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association (MIEDA) has been working for the development of Industry, Agriculture, Investment Promotion, Technology Upgradation, SME and putting efforts for the sustained economic growth of the State. It prioritizes and monitors issues concerning governance to improve delivery mechanisms and accelerate redressal of grievances of various sectors in close coordination with the State and Central Governments in order to make Maharashtra the preferred investment destination. MIEDA acts as a Think Tank to provide necessary inputs for development of the state by preparing survey, research reports and white papers on the opportunities, challenges and issues, which will then be taken up with the concerned government departments.

Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe initiated Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association (MIEDA) to organise various activities for industrial development, economical growth of Maharashtra and to resolve the problems and issues of related sectors.
